O, Great Google, I Beseech Thee!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 86261

Certain that he has only moments to act, and uncertain as to how this strange sort of magic is worked, Fred - ever the impulsive adventurer - begins pressing the pebbled runes in front of him. Knowing nothing about the nature of The Google, Fred simply touches the runes in a sequence meant to spell out the most neutral of spell words: "assistance."

Before he is even 4 runes in, however, his clumsy, non-magician fingers touch the wrong rune and the box of light begins changing before his eyes. Suddenly, where once The Google and His attendant runes had been, there appears a series of tiny paintings - masterworks, all - each featuring a maiden or several maidens or several maidens and a man, each of them uncovered and intertwined in ways that remove any doubt of The Google's true nature.

Fred gasps in shock and horror, but is unable to look away. Surely he is being enchanted, caught in The Google's evil web, made to feel strange stirrings that would once have been covered by a codpiece.

The voice from behind him is now more insistent, "Fred! My office! Now!"

  1. Fred gives in to The Google, surrendering to the siren call of its wicked wenches.
  2. Fred escapes The Google, and follows the owner of the voice away from this evil cube of cloth.
  3. Fred, unable to count on The Google for help, takes matters into his own hands and attacks the owner of the voice.
  4. Fred pushes past the owner of the voice and attempts to escape into the unknown lands beyond the evil cube.
