A Whole New World

The last thing he remembers clearly is running through darkness, afraid of... something. Something evil. Or gross. Or both. Though he can still feel some of the lingering dread, he can't quite focus in on what it was that disturbed him so.

And there was something about a... a dragon? And maybe a wizard? With some mushrooms? Is that right?

He rubs his eyes and begins to shake some of the grogginess from his brain. He still feels a little floaty, but some semblance of normality is returning to him. Until, that is, he takes a look around and notices for the first time his surroundings.

Fred is sitting upright in some sort of strange, soft chair. There are thick, padded, light-colored walls of cloth surrounding him on three sides. He's not sure if they can properly be called walls, however, as they appear to be short enough that Fred could peer over them if he were standing. In front of him, set into the corner, is a sort of table made of some shiny, unnatural material he has never seen before. On top of the table and easily within his reach sits a strange, flat box, covered in a grid of square pebbles or bubbles, each marked with a rune. Behind the flat box stands another, taller box, the front surface of which is filled with light. Within the light, Fred can see more runes.

Looking closer, Fred sees that the runes are familiar, if strangely formed. Together, they seem to create words which are also familiar, if also strangely formed. The largest rune, hovering at the top of the box of light, is multi- colored and forms a word with which Fred is not familiar. Before he can think better of it, Fred reads the unknown word out loud: "Google."

Suddenly, Fred is startled by a voice from the opening in the short walls behind him. The voice is strangely accented and says something that Fred neither expects nor fully comprehends. It says, "Fred, could I see you in my office please?

1. Fred leaps from his chair and attacks the speaker.
2. Fred follows the speaker out of the short-walled room of runes.
3. Fred attempts to call upon the mysterious god, Google, by manipulating the runes in front of him.
