I Wanna Go Back to Dixie

"Oh my god!" Scott cried out. "Bruce, where are you, sweetie? I need you! I miss you! I don't know where we're at! Bruce? Oh, Bruce?"

Scott's panic attack wasn't out of character. In fact, it was completely expected. Ever since he was born, the identical twin to Raymond, an old childhood friend of Scott Childers, there were few instances where Scott Michael Chen didn't freak out over something, even if it was just the very slightest out of control. Not only was he prone to panic, Scott also wasn't that intelligent, as compared to his brother, who had a genius level IQ, and never seemed to earn a grade lower than a B plus.

Unfortunately, the Chen twins had their lives unwittingly ruined by Scott Childers, following his breakdown after the high school basketball riot he was caught in. Childers adopted Ray's name as his new pseudonym, becoming 'Scott Raymond Chen'. From there, if Scott had caused some trouble somewhere in America, somehow, Raymond Chen would somehow be linked to it, and to a lesser extent, so would Scott M. Chen. Ray's college plans fell through. Mr. and Mrs. Chen divorced in 1998. Things weren't helped very much by Scott's decision to come out to his family around this time. Mrs. Chen ran from the room in tears, while her soon-to- be ex-husband accused Scott of "too much clowning around". Raymond simply replied "And this is news how, Scott? My god, we already knew that!"

Largely alienated from his family, Scott M. Chen flung himself into a series of brief and dysfunctional relationships with other men that usually saw him as the one getting cheated on, or dumped. After he met Bruce and fell in love with him, Scott finally thought he had found "the one", even if Bruce could be "totally inconsiderate" at times. Bruce had long tired of Scott and his personality, and basically kept him around as a fuck buddy while he openly pursued relationships with other people, men or women. Bruce also made it no secret that he was sick and tired of Scott's helplessness when it came to, well, just about everything you could imagine.

It quickly dawned on Scott Chen that Bruce wasn't around, and perhaps it was a good idea to look at the paperwork on the coffee table in the tiny living room. Feeling his eyes tear up, Scott opened the folder and started reading over its contents.

Ten minutes later: "Whaaaat?! I can't do this! Where the hell am I?! Where's the phone? I need to call Bruce and have him come save me! Where's a phone?!"

After Scott ran all over the place screaming, it was clear that he wasn't going to, at the least, do any sightseeing today. It was a shame, since Tórshavn looked like a quaint and charming little place from the viewpoint of the living room window.
