Oh no! Had Wu set her up, after all? Was she here to turn Stacy in to
security? But one look at Wu's face convinced her that that wasn't it. Wu
looked nervous and apologetic. Apparently she was trying to look as if she
were busy with some electronics journals, but Stacy didn't think she was
making a very good job of her casual act. Zimmermann, on the other hand,
looked very comfortable, indeed. He was leaning back in a chair, smiling
slightly, and looking as if he had no intention of leaving. Is he on to
us? Stacy wondered. Does he know about our escape plans, or is he
just suspicious? Or has he simply been assigned to keep an eye on us? And
how should I play this?
