Stacy looked at the newspaper clipping. As she had noticed before, it was
headlined "Brilliant Researcher Hopes for Ageing Cure." Well, it was nice
to be referred to as "brilliant," she supposed, even though right now she
was feeling anything but. The article gave a very brief (and, of course,
very nontechnical) summary of Stacy's research, which seemed to agree with
what she'd read about it in Susan's notebook. It said that animal trials
had been successful -- Stacy gave an ironic laugh at that -- and that human
tests would be starting soon. It also gave a very short biography of
Stacy, mentioning her degree from MIT and her recent work at New Mexico
Tech.
