Two More Lost Souls

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 8000

The article said that the initial human trials were to be on four subjects. It did not give any names, of course, nor mention that one of them would be Stacy herself. So somewhere there are probably two more people who have lost their memories, thought Stacy. Tracking them down would be a big job, though, even if they are still living in New York. I suppose I'd have to try all the hospitals in the area. Would I have told the reporter who the subjects were? Surely not, even if I knew at that stage. That would be very unethical. My guess is that the other two would be men, to get an even split. What I'd really like to do is trace my own records of the four subjects and their treatments. Those records must be in New York somewhere.

Stacy's next move (after assuring Donald that she would look after his phone bill) was:

  1. To call every hospital in New York to ask if any amnesiacs had come in recently.
  2. To ring the New York Times and attempt to trace the reporter who had filed the story.
