She volunteered to be a guinea-pig for an experimental medical treatment, and as an apparent side-effect she's lost her memory. So I naturally want to read up on the subject."

"I'm so sorry to hear that," said Stacy. Had she been experimenting on other people, as well as herself? That sounded even riskier than using herself as a subject. She needed more information. "Can you tell me in which city this treatment took place, and what it was supposed to achieve?" she asked.

  1. "Yes. In New York. And it was supposed to delay or prevent ageing."
  2. "Yes. In LA. And it was supposed to delay or prevent ageing." Had someone else stumbled on the same treatment as she had?
  3. "In New York. But I don't know what it was supposed to achieve."
  4. "I'm sorry, but I think I've said too much already. I don't want people gossiping about my sister."
