you want to go. Now, let me do this quickly for my time grows short." He then turns to an empty corner of the cell and mutters incantations under his breath, then dramatically thrusting forth a claw-like hand. A small swirling purple dot grows quickly into a 7 foot high portal, showing a desolate landscape under a gray stormy sky. A path, lined with tall obelisks, leads to what appears to be a city. "Enter quickly, I cannot keep this open long" he says, sweat visible on his brow. The party looks at each other, then they nod and step towards the portal. Right before they enter, Astra puts her hand on Fred's arm. "Wait... just a second. Fred, I am not sure about this. I feel as though everything is not as it seems." For his part, Fred just shakes his head. "It never is," he says, then walks through the portal, vanishing from sight. Velus jumps right in the portal too. Astra walks up to it, then looks at the old man. "Lord Draethmore... do not trick us or I swear I will end your imprisonment... with your death. This I swear." She then steps through the portal. After they leave, the old man lets his hand fall, and the portal swiftly fades. To himself, he mutters "Yes. Brave words. We shall see, human, we shall see." and then vanishes.
