Communication Problem Redux

Astra was getting hungry. She had no way of keeping track of time, but she thought that the dragon must be several hours late with her meal. She had no way of knowing that he had been killed.

Then she saw a glow being cast on the wall further along the passage by a torch held by someone not yet in view. A moment later the person holding the torch appeared round a corner: not the dragon, but a beautiful naked girl. Astra noticed that she had an extra nipple on her right breast. [20992] That meant that she was most probably a witch.

Still, even a witch must surely be preferable to being a prisoner of the dragon. "Please can you release me?" she asked the girl.

The girl's response was very strange. "What are you?" she asked Astra. "Are you the same kind of thing as me? You seem generally similar, but with some differences. You are taller and generally bigger than me. The long fine strands attached to the top of you are red whilst mine are black, and your two bouncy things seem rather bigger than mine."

Astra realised that there was only one reasonable explanation. "You've totally lost your memory, haven't you?" she asked, hoping that "memory" wouldn't be one of the words that the girl had forgotten.

"I suppose so. I have no idea of who or what I am, or where I am."

"You are in the dragon's caves, and you - like me - are a human female. My name is Astra, by the way."

From the blank look on the girl's face, Astra guessed that she didn't recognise at least some of those words. "I'll explain later," she said, "but we don't have time now. See that rock by your foot? Your foot is one of the two things that you walk on. The rock is that solid, heavy thing. Pick up the rock and bash at my chains with it to see if you can break them. The chains are those metal things attaching me to the wall."

And THAT is when an ODD group of people indeed show out of thin air with a flash of green light and a soft gong sound that sounds almost like it had been struck underwater!
