Justice is Served

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 70876

“Guilty!” he proclaimed with a charismatic sweep of his arm. “By reason of insanity!” He winked at his attorney and then proceeded to cluck like a chicken to cement his point.

His lawyer shook his head and shielded his eyes in disbelief.

The judge frowned, obviously not buying into Fred’s charade. “I’m going to exonerate you on the homicide charges,” he said, much to Fred’s relief and the utter astoundment of his attorney. “HOWEVER,” he added, “the charge of possession of dragon fecal matter demands a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years.”

Fred’s spirits sank.

But the judge wasn’t finished. “But seeing as you are obviously a chicken, and had no way of knowing you were committing a grave crime against all that is decent, I’m going to let it slide.” He pounded his gavel amorously, whatever that means, and declared his verdict. “You’re absolved of all wrongdoings and free to go, sir. Run along and join the rest of your kind, oh noble fowl.”

Petruchio patted Fred on the back. “Wow,” he said. “I can’t believe that worked. You’re one lucky SOB.”

“Bwok,” said Fred.

“That’s our Fred!” said the bailiff. On cue the entire courtroom erupted into laughter.

Freeze frame. Roll credits.

Next week, in an all new episode, Fred:

  1. Discovers his girl is cheating on him. Wackiness ensues.
  2. Continues his homicidal antics, and takes out the entire cast of "All My Children"
  3. Goes on vacation and orders a margartia, no salt.
  4. Continues his Quest to slay the dragon. Guest star, Chuck Norris.
