Busted!

Unfortunately, Fred had murdered prominent musicians in front of a large audience, and he was not going to get out of it that easily.

A large SWAT team showed up within a few minutes after Fred woke up, knocked him out, and threw him into prison. Fred was stripped of all his equipment, and put into a small cell with a large man who also happened to be named Fred.

"What are you in for?"

"Triple celebrity homicide."

"Of who?"

"Hanson."

"Ah, good, I hated them. You'd probably get along well here."

Fred (the Hanson-slayer) slept on the top bunk, contemplating his options. His trial was tomorrow, and his prospects did not look too good.

The next morning, Fred was awoken by his attorney, Petruchio.

"You have a few options," Petruchio stated. "We could try to argue that you killed Hanson in self-defense. After all, their singing is REALLY annoying. But it will all come down to the jury's demographics, so it could be risky."

Petruchio sighed and wrote a few things down on his paper. "It might be easier to plead guilty by reason of insanity, but you would be committed for a while. Good luck."

The courtroom was pretty standard except for the large, fate-tempting chandelier loosely hanging above the front of the courtroom and an open window on the left side of the building.

"Mr. Fred, you stand accused of triple homicide, carrying a weapon in public and possession of dragon fecal matter. How do you plead?"

1. Guilty!
2. Not Guilty!
3. No contest?
4. Attempt to escape
5. Deus ex machina
