Negotions to purchase the ISP "Never Ending Internet Solutions" took place in a conference room overlooking the East River.
Stacy's companion, who introduced himself as Steven Boswell, did take the lead in things. The only other people in the room were Don Marks, CEP of NEIS and his lawyer, a grumpy looking bald man named Tom Johnson. Things went swimmingly, as far as Stacy could tell. The only rough point came in signing the document papers. Stacy wasn't sure where to sign or in fact, what to sign. She told Johnson to point out the right spots because the contracts were a bit different then what she was used to. To learn her own last name, Stacy pretended to need to work out some figures and asked Boswell if he had one of her business cards on him. He did. Stacy's last name was a plain-jane Jones.
