Fortunately Josh had taken that aircraft piloting class when he was
sixteen and had lied about his age. Also, he had bribed people. Josh was
fully qualified to fly all sorts of aircraft. Only one problem.

By sheer coincidence, none of the aircraft Josh could fly were in the airport.

Josh had had to put all the twelve million people somewhere. The runways were full (thankfully it was a very cloudy day).

Same as above, but Josh realizes this only after he is rolling out a 747 and wonders what all the bumping and screaming is.

One of the people has escaped their bonds. Josh throws a shoe at them.

He has to pee and has forgotten how.
