Now Everybody's Me

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 69273

The phone rings in the office of Chief Jeremy Bender, Josh's supervisor in the Never Ending Quest Bureau of Investigations:

"Hello, Chief Bender here...Oh, hey Burbank, what's up? Did you succeed in arresting Paris? Run that by me again, Burbank...what the hell are you doing in France for?! She wasn't anywhere near Europe, and, what?! Josh, is this one of your stupid pranks again? This is why you don't get any more assignments than you do because...you did, huh? How, may I ask, did you arrest over twelve million people in less than one day? 'You have ways'? Oh, that's hilarious, Burbank. Here's what we want you to do now: get your ass on the next flight back to America, because we're going to have a meeting concerning your behavior! Stop joking! You do not have twelve million plus people handcuffed and on the ground right now! Just get to the airport, and...oh, right, you probably arrested everyone at Charles de Gaulle International Airport, didn't you? No excuses, Burbank, get home immediately!"

Bender slams down the phone. "How the hell did we end up with him? " he snaps out loud to no one in particular.

We cut to Josh somewhere in Paris on a pay phone. He can't believe that his superiors don't believe him. "Okay, who's going to help me run all of these people in then?" he asks.

We now see countless people lying on their stomachs and handcuffed surrounding Josh and the phone booth he is standing in.

  1. Josh gets to work booking all twelve million plus people he has arrested.
  2. Josh frees about 100,000 people and deputizes them. They get to work booking whoever was left.
  3. Josh takes Bender's advice and proceeds to the airport. The problem was, the airport was empty because Josh had arrested everyone.
  4. Josh utters the word "Miracleman", just to see what happens.
