"I shall be merciful. You can join - or in Velus's case rejoin - this group here, and help them with the housekeeping." The Dragon told them. "And to you lot!," The dragon roared, turning to the rest of the captives. "For your attempts of escape, you will not have access to the game room until further notice... and I suppose I must change my password to something... less stupid... however did you figure it out, anyway?" "Well you see Elanda here-" The burly captive said, nodding his head at the girl standing next to him, but was interrupted by her. "It's a long story." The girl named Elanda said, blushing. "Interesting." The Dragon smirked. "Well, I need to be in my human form to enter the password..." The Dragon began shrinking and changing shape, his red, scaly skin turning into a light-brown tan, and black-hair sprouting for his head. His face contorted and twisted into a more humanoid shape. His wings turned to arms and his legs also became more human-like. In his transformation, the Dragon had also learnt how to morph into clothes, so he was not naked as he was in his draconic form, and was instead wearing an expensive, crimson robe. Despite being less than a tenth the height of his dragon form, the Dragon still had a fearsome presence, and he still retained the cold, emotionless eyes that he had in his draconic form. Astra had met him in his human form many times before as he would often boast about his capturing her, and he always scared her. The Dragon just had a mighty, badass presence like that. The Dragon took a few seconds to shift his weight so he could walk like a human, and slowly walked towards the door that Fred, Velus, and Astra had entered from. With a mere swish of his hands, the door slammed shut. The Dragon then placed his hands on the door, and whispered quietly, so quietly that no-one could hear at all, the new password. Then he turned round suddenly and stared at Velus, "I suppose I could turn you into something worse, or keep you like this, but you must have escaped by going through somewhere very small... so enjoy your humanity." With another swish of his hands, Velus's fur began to shrink, and his body began to grow, his paws turning to hands, his face becoming human... but unlike the dragon, he was naked. And so was Astra. "That's right, you... you adventurers, you heroes! You deserve to feel nought but shame!" Astra was still in shock from Fred's death, and didn't say anything. Velus jumped in the air and stared at his human hands. "Ruff Ruff! I mean, hooray!" "Anyway- all of you! You have work to do. Will someone clean up those ashes?" The Dragon told them stiffly, and then walked out through the wide entrance. Outside the wide entrance, there was a large, empty field, and surrounding the field was nothing but un-climable mountains. The only way to escape was to fly out. The dragon turned back into his draconic form, and flew away, seeking out more hunt. "Well, let's get to work!" Yelled one of the captives, and Astra began to follow, but Velus stopped her. "Look!," Velus whispered excitedly, pointing at the Master Bedroom. "He left the door open to the Master Bedroom... and past the Master Bedroom is the library! Maybe we can find a book there that can help us." "Can you read?" asked Astra. "No, but don't people know how to read in Aqualaria?" "Yes, but wouldn't the dragon's books be in... draconic?" "Only one way to find out!" Velus replied, and with that he ran past the grand master bedroom and into the dusty massive room that was the dragon's library. There were thousands of books. Astra followed him in, and said:
