Hilda does not take much notice of Barnabas handing over the package. She
has largely overcome the shock of suddenly finding herself - as far as she
can tell - in the lair of a dragoness, a dragoness who is seemingly
Barnabas's employer. But she has been distracted by the sight of the young
woman chained to the wall. She is about 5 feet 10 inches tall,
athletically built, pretty, and has blonde hair. [9133] For some reason
she seems oddly familiar to Hilda, but the Frost Giant can't tell why.
Though Hilda normally feels no great sympathy for humans, it doesn't seem right to her that any intelligent creature should be chained up like this. "Why is that woman a prisoner?" she asks the dragoness. "Surely she could not harm a mighty dragoness like yourself. Also you did not answer her question. Do you know what has happened to her husband and children?" The dragoness is annoyed. She has not finished dealing with Barnabas, and does not appreciate being interrupted.
