The Choice (Part I)

"You should learn to control your tongue," the unnamed female dragon snaps. "Be silent!"

With that, she casts a spell that should render Hilda mute. And of course, it soon proves to be needful for a few . . . more spells be cast, rendering both female giants restrained (and unconscious).

Ditto for Braveheart, faithful their gryphon.

Now a bit more pissed off (and slightly scrapped up by Braveheart's talons despite having a thick and scaley hide), she turns back to the task at hand. A VERY nervous looking man/goatman who calls himself Barnabas swallows a lump in his throught.

"Now . . .where were we?" the dragoness growled.

Needless to say, things do not go too well for Barnabas. That goes without saying! It ends in with the dragoness putting Barnabas out, to make the next phase she has planned for him . . .easier for her.

No guilt is felt by the dragoness because she never actually promised to really return Barnabas to human. She'd just promised to pay him. Whether or not the man will waste it on cheap wine (and women) after his . . . transformation shall remain to be seen.

Satyres are a randy lot...

But then again maybe she might (at the last moment) change her mind and spare him. Depends on how WELL her examination goes on these mysterious female giants who'd quirked her interests. Maybe if it goes well and she learns something new (and interesting) she might be . . . lenient.

Later . . .

The dragoness shakes off a throbing headache from having one of her more powerful examination spells bounce BACK at her.

"Whoever or whatever you were somewhere involved the Fey," she says to herself, looking at the now transformed giantesses. The sleeping female gryphon's fail to respond, of course.

While it had been challenging and fraught with unexpected complications (witness the accidental triggering of shifting of forms the dragoness had caused here), it had actually been . . . somewhat FUN for the dragoness.

The challenge had been fun.

"Okay, I shall give you a chance," she says to both the sleeping Barnabas.

1. "And maybe even YOU if your spirit should not be extinquished by the ritual I am going to do here," the female says softly to Belinda, gathering up the materials needed to bring BACK those she had lost.
