Qundarian waved his gnarled hand and uttered a few arcane syllables. Astra and Carola glanced at one another. The old man's words sounded like complete gibberish. When he was through, however, they were both amazed to see a pillar of light materialize in their midst! "This is the gateway to the surface," Qundarian told them. "It will span a large distance for ye, such as a bridge span a river, if you will. A shortcut. A-" "We get the point," snapped Astra. "But where will it take us?" Qundarian paused for a moment. "As for where it will take ye precisely..."

  1. "...it will bring ye back to your own kingdom. As your sister Belinda was a traitor, there runs an even deeper vein of deceit among the royal family. You must get to the bottom of this foul conspiracy before it is too late!"
  2. "...it will bring ye back to your own kingdom, where a terrible battle is in full-swing. The Dragon's forces are laying seige as we speak. Your place is there, with your people."
  3. "...it will bring ye to a dark place of death and despair, but it is in that place where ye will find your only hope for the future."
