"Thank you!" said Stacy, then surprised the man by getting up immediately
and going over to Dan, the doughnut-store clerk. "Dan," she said, "Do you know where the K-NEWS studio is?" "No," said Dan, "but I'm sure it's in the phone book. Why?" "Because that man over there knows who I am! He saw me on TV: K-NEWS. I'm a reporter! And if I can find the studio..." "...You can find people who know you and figure out where you live! Wonderful!" Dan checked the doughnut shop's phone book and quickly found the address for the studio. "Great!" said Stacy. "I'll go find that ATM you were talking about and get some money for the subway..." "Hang on," said Dan. "You know, I get off in half an hour, and I don't live too far from there. If you want to wait, I can give you a ride."
