Gilda strode naked from the tent. Hilda followed her, still
wondering what could be wrong. Soon enough, Hilda soon shall realize
that something is wrong and her twin sister is not imagining things. Soon
enough,
something reveals itself. Hilda, still feeling something is more than a bit wrong here nonetheless decides that her twin sister is correct in going out to take a dip in the stream nearby to cleanup. If nothing else at least it went to prove that they had better sense than their backwards cousins, the Hill Giants.
Going outside without a trace of modesty--clothing is nice but it could only get damp while washing up in a stream—the two female Frost Giants soon are enjoying a invigorating dip, even IF the water was more than a bit chill for their tastes. What with the runoff being it was from the glacier runoff a few miles away. Soon done and dressed (while immodest they both know that too much sunshine on certain parts of the anatomy can be . . . painful if exposed for too long), they turn to other business with the morning routine (doing routine maintenance on the gear that their only hope with making a respectable livelihood ) when Gilda suddenly stops sharpening the edge of her war ax and blinks. "Something not right here," she blinks, then frowns and hopes that her sibling does not take this chance to jib her for the statement. Just moments earlier her sister had said as much and she'd dismissed it out of hand! But whatever her sister would have said is swallowed up by the yelps of pain she and Gilda give off as a very familiar mark (re: 63732) --scaled up for their size-- suddenly appears on each of their foreheads.
