can channel it into themselves. Due to Belboz living several lifetimes, he
has accrued more than normal." The ruler's brow creased into a frown. "If this power is as great as you say, are you sure you will be able to control it?" Jereld nodded. "Given time, yes. If - when - I succeed, I shall have to keep away from Chahardapolis until then." Despite his faith in Jereld, the ruler was worried, but he was able to keep it from becoming visible. Instead, he said, "And what are the others?" Jereld gave a smile, almost as in anticipation. "Ah, yes. I have learnt that Belboz has a number of rare spell books and tomes in his possession. On his death, their secrets will be mine."
