Fred and Velus seek the Wizard Of Kamiro

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 6081

Fred and Velus left the cave well behind. (They kept getting lost traveling forward but re-tracing their ground was somewhat easier).

The two skipped over the muddy path bordering the mountain valley and the deep woods. They pushed their way down a dried up creek bed, then found an animal trail. It led up and around and down and in all sorts of directions, but the princess assured them that all animal trails in the forest ran to the Wizard.

Fred found that bit of magic a bit too...conveinent and resolved to be on his gaurd. Sure, it was possible a mighty mage could distort the woods like that, but what in heaven's name for?

Soon the two came to a bizarre sight. There was the front of a house ahead of them. Stone walls held a wide door. Two stained glass windows featuring random patterns bracketed the door. Ivy climbed up the left side of the house. All normal? Well, yes, Fred said to himself. Except most house-fronts aren't set flat into the ground like a floor-mural!

Fred walked up to the door and knocked. It swung open, and standing horizontally to Fred's verticallity was a vibrant, young man in tight white pants, a black shirt and a blood red cloak. He held a bottle of wine in one hand and a paint brush in the other.

"Oh, hello." he said. "I'm the Wizard Of Kamiro. You must be sent by Princess Astra. Or is it Lord Monokoe?"
"Princess Astra." said Fred. "But how do you know?"
"Pish." snorted the man. "As if anyone not sent by them could find the place."
"I see. We do have urgent matters to discuss, oh wizard. May we enter? And if so, how?"
"Close your eyes. You too, little-human dog. Keeping them open through the trip will..." The man paushed, seeming to search for the correct word.
"Drive you insane?" Fred offered.
"No, just make you see naked purple women for about a day straight. Real fun the first few times, then it gets annoying."
Fred was at a loss for words.

About half an hour pass, filled with various boring discussions, entreaties, begging and a howl from Velus because he had to go out.

In the end...

  1. The Wizard does not agree to help.
  2. The Wizard does agree to help.
  3. The Wizard has a heart attack and dies.
