A year later

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 598

Fred, Astra and Velus have crafted a decent life for themselves on the island. It wasn't much but it was home. For now. Until they could be rescued.
Being so far away from the dragon did have upsides. The spell that turned Velus into a dog wore off slightly. He now walked on two legs, had fingers instead of paws and could speak instead of bark.
The island was twenty miles long and seven wide. An inert volcano was at the south side and a wide, beach-lined lagoon at the other. Velus named it 'Bethany Bay' in honor of his mother. The island itself became known as 'Wondra' after Astra's childhood nickname. It fell to Fred to name the mountain and he called it 'Toothsome' because it looked as it would gobble them up if it could.
A year and three days after their banishment someone appeared on the island. It was quickly apparent this newcomer was stranded also but company was company...cursed as the situation may be.
Who had joined out castaways?

  1. Alura, Astra's half-sister.
  2. Lord Voldemort, a wizard from a far away isle. No one trusted him.
  3. King Emry's favorite jester, Khrusti.
  4. Velus' mom, Bethany.
  5. Edward Vellinaige, famed storyteller and bard.
  6. Sir Josh, knight of the kingdom.
  7. Bob the centaur. He was a fruit vendor. He had an ulcer.
  8. Reaibn, the gaurdian of the castle wine cellars. He was a joyful fellow.
  9. Alfred, the king's loyal butler.
  10. Archchanncellor Ridcully. He ruled a roster of wizards from another realm and often stopped by to see the king to, in his words, 'Play chess, drink mead and get away from those damnable University first-years'.
