When Astra knocked on Fred's door and asked how he was getting on, he
called back: "I'm just having another bath. It's nice to have a bit of
luxury for a change. I'll be about fifteen minutes."
The magic of the place seemed to include the ability to be heard through what was quite a substantial door, so Astra had no difficulty in making out what he said. "Would you like me to scrub your back for you?" she joked.
