The Winding Narrow Path

Fred the Centaur chose the narrow and winding path... unfortunately for Fred, centaurs are much wider then humans and the path was a bit narrower then he thought. In fact, on such a narrow path it was impossible for him to turn his equine body around.

"Well as long as I can move forward, I'm alright. Wow my voice..." Fred had completely forgotten that he hadn't heard his new much louder and lower centaur voice. Fred had never heard a centaur speak before, so after thinking about it a second or two he was pretty relieved he wasn't neighing. Overall though he thought his new voice was actually an improvement and almost laughed at the irony that changing into a centaur made him sound more manly.

Unfortuantely for Fred on the 19th turn of the cave the path had gotten so narrow that his rather large torso became wedged between the walls. Although he struggled and used as much horsepower and manpower as he could he would not budge forward.

"Hmmm... I guess I could walk backwards and take the other path."

"Fool! If you value your life you will stand still! One step back and you will be destroyed! Do as I say though and I can solve you!" A voice much louder then Fred's boomed throughout the cave.

1. Fred decided to listen to what the voice had to say
2. Fred was so surprised to hear the voice he stepped back in fright
3. Fred pushed and pulled with all of his strength to unwedge himself
