It is the biggest dog she had ever seen. Coal black, with a head the size
of a Christmas ham and a tail damn near as long as it's torso. Somehow it
had gotten tied up in a fishing net. Andrea kicked off her boots, slid out of her pack and dove into the water. The dog barked when it saw her near but could not do anything about it. Using her favorite throwing dagger, Andrea snipped through the net in seconds. Then, with one hand supporting the dog, she led it and the remnants of the net to the beach. They splashed aground, looking like the world's most pathetic swamp monster. Andrea carefully picked away the last of the net. Then she was knocked to the ground by the dog's forceful thanking. Most of which involved licking her face. "Gerrof, gerrof!" Andrea cried. The dog backed away, then barked. "What?" she said. The dog barked again. "Hungry?" Andrea tried. "Woof woof woof WOOF!" Andrea went for her pack and found some biscuits. She tossed it to the dog who woofled them down in seconds. "Hungry fella, aren't ya?" "Woofgle!" "What am I going to do with you?" The dog came to her side and sat down. He looked up at her. "Worf!"
