Fred muttered in disgust as the pathetic creature made good its escape. If
he'd gone against his word and killed it, he would have lost
experience. It left him wondering. He had expected the Dragon to be the final battle. And the One Shoggoth, though it almost killed him obviously hadn't been it either. So where did that leave him? The caves, extensive as they had been had been cleared out. If he'd encountered the dragon before and got it to transform Velsia, clearing out the caves would have helped level her up. On the other hand, certain critters respawned after a certain period of time, but he wasn't sure if the ones in the caves did. So with Velsia in tow...
