They made light conversation as they walked. Velsia said "You know my lord, in the caves of Hogungrim in the far east, they say there are ten- foot venomous panthrodogicites that can bite a man's head off in one swoop, and quickly regenerate when killed."

"Shut up! You're a liar!" Fred laughed.

Suddenly, a single slime appeared. It made eyes at them and said "I love you! Won't you be my friends?"

"Quickly, Velsia!" Fred yelled. "Show No Mercy!"

"As you command, my lord." Velsia said, hefting her axe. She jumped through the air screaming, axe sweeping down at the Slime.

  1. The slime explodes at the touch of Velsia's axe, spraying her with its innards.
  2. Velsia trips, loses her axe and gets sucker-punched by the Slime.
