jaw dropped as he watched Velus start to glow. Fred checked his menu.
True enough, the minigame where you got to feed Velus from your inventory
and make him run around and do tricks was gone. Fred cursed the fact that
he hadn't saved the game before running in here. But his jaw dropped even
lower when Velus shifted and transformed into a buxom adolescent wench
with long flowing brown hair and big green eyes. "Darn it all!" Fred yelled. "You told me you were a boy! Is this how you lie to your lord and main character?!" "My apologies, my lord." the girl Velsia said, blushing as she covered her naked form. "I had thought you would not want to bring a girl along with you into such danger, but I wanted to help..." Fred checked her stats and grunted with disappointment. She was only level 1. It would be pointless to include her in the party, and she couldn't even serve as a romantic interest, since she was lowborn and marrying her would bring no lands or titles. Out of simple modesty he made her equip his cloak and gave her a spare axe. "Excuse me." the Dragon gulped, having been ignored the entire time. "Does that mean you will let me go now?" Fred thought about this.
