With their supplies having been replenished, our four heroes left the inn
and the township behind them. As they continued their journey, Astra said
to Jorn: "My mother keeps a bunch of centaurs on retainer, [221] but you
must be new, as I'd not met you before today."
"That's right, Princess. I've only been working for Aqualaria for a week or so." "I'd have expected my mother to send someone to look for me who had been working for us for rather longer than that. How did you manage to find me, anyway?" "Well, I knew that you had been abducted by the dragon, and so were likely to be in the caves." "Yes, but the caves are very extensive. I suppose that you could just have been lucky. But when you came on the scene, it was dark, the wind having blown out Fred's torch, yet you seemed to know that I was there. Also it's curious that the strange wind began just before you appeared, and then died down again immediately afterwards." "You seem to be suspicious of me, Princess. What are you suggesting?"
