Birth of Psychoverse

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 52310

Finishing up, Agent 4 flushed the toilet, hiked his pants back up and washed his hands. Wiping his hands with a towel, he wondered how the Champions he had sent to deliver the letter to Rassilon were doing. It was a really easy mission, perfect for two newbie Champions like that. If all went as planned, the Master would be subdued and the thinie threat eliminated in no time at all.

Agent 4 opened the door and walked outside... and screamed in horror as he realized he was about to fall down a massive precipice leading into a writhing mass of horror thousands of feet below. Grabbing onto his bathroom doorknob for balance, Agent 4 immediately calmed his nerves and went into damage control mode. Shutting himself back in the toilet, he whipped out his cellphone and called everyone. However, reception was dead. Agent 4 cursed his cheap cellphone service.

"Well, this is rather problematic." Agent 4 said. "Certainly not something that I expected. Of course, I'm not too worried, being a minion of Chao and all, but... c'mon! Something's really not right here."

He braved glancing outside the toilet again, and found the same infernal abyss, surrounded by walls of flame contorted with writhing human faces. Down in the writhing mass of horror below, he noticed some high ranking officials from the Office of Evil, including some of his old drinking partners. However, they seemed rather ill-at-ease. "Help us!!" roared Abrnhhyjagoth, the Overlord of Insatiability. "Oh Agent, save us from the Ultimate Evil! We had no idea just how evil Evil could be! We were deluded!! I swear I'll mend my ways!!"

"Yeah right!" Agent 4 yelled. "Hey man, I told you this would happen if you kept it up! Could you please tell me what's going on here?"

"It's the damn thinies!" roared the demon. "They're flippin' out of control! It's like they have a mind of their own, and they're destroying and distorting everything in sight! Nothing is immune! Over half the Multiverse is affected, and the rate of their spread is increasing exponentially!!"

"Well what do you expect me to do?!" the Agent yelled down. "Reset the Multiverse? Only the Higher-Ups have that power! And I can't even get an appointment with them until somewhere in the next few millenia!

"There is another way!" the demon shrieked in agony. "The River of Time!! If one could travel along the River and drink of its waters, they could... AAAAAARRRRGHHH!!!"

Agent 4 turned away as his old friend was consumed by a mass of improbability. "Damn it." he whispered. He flipped his cellphone back open and tried to dial someone...

  1. ...anyone...
