Can't find the manual

"Maybe you should be careful with that." Astra said worriedly.

"I'll tell you what I should be careful with!" the man said, when unexpectedly Velus sprinted up behind him and clamped his teeth over the man's groin.

"Ouch!" Fred winced. The man screamed - a long, mournful wailing sound. The device flew out of his hands and Fred leaped forward nimbly to catch it.

Velus let go and ran over to them. "Good work, boy." Astra said, stroking the pup's head as he looked up at her with intelligent, moist eyes.

"Well, what have we here?" Fred said, examining the device. "Some sort of infernal magick contraption? Did you mean to rule over our world with this?"

"Let's not be hasty." the man said, cradling his wounded pride. "Please give that back to me."

"What do you think, Astra?" Fred said, juggling the device in one hand. "Should I let him have it?"

"Yes, yes!" the man said anxiously. "Let me have it!"
