The Never Ending Quest - Episode 51964

Note: This is no longer in the same continuity as the other Eternal
Champion thread beginning with episode 27341, which I hope to get back to
sometime soonish. Trying to shove all the Doctor Who and comic book related
stuff into that thread on top of all the other things that were going on
was stupid and too confusing for the other writers. From now on this
thread will be the place for all the crazy fanfic ideas that I might be
tempted to inflict on the other thread. Episodes 46635, 46636, and 46650
summarize most of the important stuff leading into this thread.
"Now wait just a minute," said the Doctor. "Aren't about half the people on this team Wolfriders?" "Yes," said Hathar'ruil. "But these wolves aren't natural. There's something wrong about them." "I can still attempt to speak with them," said T'imma. She closed her eyes and slowly her form began to shift into that of a wolf herself. "Wow," whispered Betty "Who do you serve?" she Sent to the wolves. "We serve the lord of this realm," said the wolves as one. "He keeps us and feeds us with human flesh. Long have we hungered for the flesh of a Champion." "I do not wish to kill a wolf," said T'imma. "Yet I have no choice. You have grown cruel and false." She paced in front of the wolves and howled defiantly. "You are one and we are many," said the wolf-boy. "Do you truly think you can stop us?" T'imma gave no answer. Instead she sprang into battle and pounced on the wolf-boy. "Come on!" Sent the wolf-boy. "Help me out!" But the rest of the pack, awed by T'imma, didn't make a move to help him. In the end the battle was short and swift. T'imma tore out the wolf-boy's throat and its blood dripped from her teeth. She raised her head and howled, and the pack howled in unison with its new leader. T'imma then shifted back into human form, her fur sinking into her skin and lengthening into silver hair on her head. "Wow," said Betty. "I, um, I didn't know she could do that. Maybe I should finally get around to reading some Elfquest when this is all over." "You have nothing to fear from me," said T'imma, with a smile that was so kind that Betty could easily believe it in spite of the fact that she'd just ripped someone's throat out. "So who--oh no," said the Doctor. "B'elanna, Gilmuriel, you were supposed to stay behind! You did stay behind! [49365] That means--" At that moment, B'elanna and Gilmuriel began to scream. With a look of horror fixed on their faces, they shifted into giant alarm clocks with dynamite tied to them. "Everybody run!" screamed Inquirer. But it was too late. An enormous explosion filled the street, and when the noise died down no one was there.
