Outside was a rainswept, foggy London street, lit faintly by street lamps
and completely, disturbingly silent. "Hmm." the Doctor said. "This seems like a trap. Stay alert, everyone." No sooner had he said this, than a shadowy figure emerged from the fog. He seemed young, wore the clothing of a common factory worker, and grinned wolfishly from ear to ear as he examined the adventurers - Betty, Ragan, Sigin, Chiana, Inquirer, Elrondir, T'imma, Grailing, Doctor, B'elanna, Aetia, Hathar'ruil and Gilmuriel. "Quite a group you have assembled here." the boy snarled cheerfully. "I didn't realize our little dimension was so important to the Powers that Be." "Hello there, lad." the Doctor smiled. "I'm not sure what you're thinking, but we're just common, ordinary tourists, recently arrived from the country. Could you quite possibly direct us to a place of lodging?" "Shut the hell up!" the boy said. "I know who you are. Police boxes don't just pop up out of nowhere and regurgitate a bunch of freaks into a city street. You people are not going to mess with our Master's perfect plan. I've already sent one of my friends out to warn him. He'll have a warm welcome for you fools." "Look boy." B'elanna snapped. "You have no idea what you're talking about, or what you're dealing with. Just go home before you get hurt!" "Is that so?" the boy said. "I can tell you blokes have got some major powers, for sure. I might not be able to kill you... but I can certainly slow you down." A loud animalistic howl pierced the night, as shadows began to emerge from the fog. Dozens and dozens of them, padding forward slowly as they surrounded the Champions. "Wolves!" Betty said. "That's right." the boy grinned, hair suddenly sprouting all over his body. "We'll rip you limb from limb! AWROOOOO!!!!!"
