Fred rose to his feet and twirled his sword around in mid-air before slamming it back into his sheath. "Don't make me angry." he said to the dead Shoggoth.

Fred felt his HP, MP and attributes improving. Omega Lightning Slash went up in level too, as well as Fred's other skills - Slash, Lightning Slash, Omega Slash and Omega Lightning Steroid Injection. Velus raised an eyebrow at that last one. "It's just a performance enhancer." Fred explained.

What's next?

  1. Search the unholy altar behind the Shoggoth's body.
  2. Run around and do a lot of "levelling-up".
  3. Play the Velus-raising minigame.
  4. Use an Angel Feather to warp back to Church and save your game.
  5. Throw down the controller in disqust and mutter something about RPGs getting more and more ridiculous.
