A New Quest

"Sure," the dragon replied, "I've been meaning to do that myself for awhile now. By the way, what is your name?"

"Fred," Fred said, "What should I call you?"

"My real name would be impossible for you to pronouce. You may call me by my surname, Starflare."

Fred suddenly realized that his belongings were still with the bear, or Bruno rather. He asked the dragon to get rid of the curse on him. Starflare replied that the curse was going to wear off today anyway, so there was no need. With a magical command the dragon teleported all of Fred's equipment to the room.

It then said, "It will be necessary for me to travel in human form, so I do not arouse suspicion." It then muttered a few phrases, and its body began to change form, becoming smaller and smaller until it became a human.

A female human. Nude.

"Gaah!" Fred screamed and turned around involuntarily, blushing profusely. "You're... a girl dragon!?"

"Indeed. I thought you would know from the shape of my forehead scales, but I suppose that is too much to expect from a human. Have you turned around because of your misconceived belief that it is a sin to look at a naked woman?"

"Yes. Just... put on some clothes, will you?"

"I have done so. You may turn around."

He did as instructed, and felt himself blushing again. Starflare's human form is a strikingly pretty girl who looked to be somewhere past her mid-teens. She pushed back some strands of dirty blonde hair from her face and smiled. "Were you surprised? I am quite young by the standards of dragons."

"I see... well, we might as well as start now. Nice to meet you."

And so, the two set out on a new adventure. However, Fred still did not know where to start. Starflare suggested that they could either start out by going to a town to gather information, or they could just stay low for awhile to get used to things. They could also go out to the unsettled wilderness and look for clues there, but that could be dangerous.

1. Go back to town and look for information.
2. Go back to town and stay low for awhile. Maybe Fred can get to know Starflare a bit more.
3. Go to the wilderness and look for clues.
