The Never Ending Quest - Episode 50869

Fred and Starflare go to the Sciences building in town. That was the name. 'Sciences'. Many learned men had gotten together, bought a local tavern and dedicated their free time and effort into learning more about the natural world that was not affected (much) by magic. Indeed, just last month they had presented proof that washing hands between patients meant many sick people became less sick. Fresh water supplies instantly tripled in price and several of the learned men made small fortunes.
Anyway...Fred and Starflare asked about the lack of decent wildlife in the nearby wilds.

  1. The men had no clue.
  2. One of the older men had some notes his grandfather had written on the confusing habits of the local animals.
  3. Suddenly, a deer smashes in through a window. A very young intern is slightly wounded.
