No Time for Thieves

Astra shook her head. Hesht had pushed this too far! She had to act fast.

Astra shouted, "You are right. We are not thieves, and I am having trouble moving. My friend and I are here on personal business. That is all that you really need to know. I do stand corrected." She picked up a shard of rock that was on the ground, and threw it like a dart, in a forward arc toward Gordie and with a tight spiral motion around its long axis. Although the rock was not as good as a dart, it served its purpose, as it whizzed just above Gordie's head. Astra continued, "We both can defend ourselves. And there are two of us. You harm one of us and the other will hit you with one of these rocks. Now, I believe you said that we should be able to move shortly. Once we can move, we would like to move unseen. If you are not interested in our personal business, than I am not interested in yours. Do we have a deal?"

1. "Deal."
2. "No deal."
