Fred shook his head, YOU fell out of one ear, ME dropped out of the
other. The tiny dog named Velus sniffed at the odd, bulbuous words but
didn't like their smell. He tinkled on them and was qite surprised when
they sizzled and desintigrated.
The tiny dog made more yipping noises so that Fred would follow. Fred did follow. Velus was tired, but not so tired that he wouldn't lead this man-sized knight into the cavern where slept the dastardly Dragon of the Southern Caves. Velus hated the Dragon. Velus hated what had befallen him. Velus hated having four legs and the urge to piss on everything in sight and smell other beast's butts. Velus really, really hated the Dragon. But Velus was also tired. So tired that he mistook the left hook for the right wall and without any intention at all, began to lead Fred in the wrong direction. Not just a wrong direction but a bad direction... a very bad direction.
