"It would appear so, Mistress. Worse yet, their captain is one I recognize - he is Lucius Skellmore, known in Aquilaria as 'Deadhand Luke'. There is a steep price on his head."

"I've heard if him, too," Astrid said. "He's raided some villages on the southern coastlines."

"It is entirely your choice, Mistress, but I do not believe it would be in your best interest to attract his attention - particularly since you are not only naked, but armed only with a single sword against Skellmore and the 33 men he had on his boat."

Astrid's heart sank as she considered Astra's report. Now what was she going to do? With a sigh, she considered her options.

1. "Well, I don't see we have much choice - we'll have to wait for some other ship to pass nearby. In the meantime, let's explore this island we're on."
2. "I don't like it, but I'm not going to wait who knows how long for another ship - let's start that fire going."
3. "Tangling with Luke's men is out of the question, but I don't plan to wait for fate, either - we're going to build a raft."
4. "I hate to say it, Astra - I may have to use my second wish."
5. "I'm not sure what to do, Astra - I'm going to have to think about this a little more."
6. Before Astrid could make her decision, they heard the sound of laughter nearby.
