Lord Fred now rules the Southern Caves

This wasn't just a matter of telling someone to peel him some grapes or granting yet another leader from the populace. There was an entire society down here, made up of the outcasts, the dregs, the rejected, the disenchanted, the insane, the unwanted of society. And that was just the people that reported to the Dragon's Census Beureu. There was a living, breathing civilization down here, and someone needed to run it. Lord Fred decided that...he was the best suited as he was noble, kind, courageous and wise. And if the silly inhabitants wanted to elect him leader, well, at least the men of the dragon wouldn't be much of a threat.

Lord Fred sent word the slaves that would now be returning to the Great Kingdom. Fred was going to stay and rule kindly over this new fiefdom of his.

Days passed

Fred did mourn for his true love, sure, but there were many details to keep him occupied. How many acres of underground soil to dedicate to the growing of human foodstuffs? What about the hundred Daylons, who must consume a mature pumpkin a day to survive? What about diamond miners who were vanishing left and right, all around the one mile-high stalctite? How does one deal peacefully with the primitive Amazonians that Belboz accidentally brought forward through time? And what about that one guy who reffered to himself as 'The governer of New York, USA'?

All this and more required Fred's attention.

What does he do now?

1. Rules as wisely as he knows how.
2. Becomes corrupt and shiftless.
3. Forms a mapping office, to map out the realms below.
4. Fred must gather his forces as the Land Of Nod declares war on his territory.
5. Before making any major decisions, Fred dons a disguise to see how the citinzery lives.
