A Boring Discussion of the Rules

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 46691

"That's hardly fair," Stacy objected.

"You expected fair?" Betty-2 asked. Correctly deciding that the question was rhetorical, Stacy said nothing.

"I supposed it's covered under Rule 5," Betty-1 pointed out. [10834 - the non-dyslexic version of the relevant episode number]

"I don't remember which rule that was," Stacy said.

"It says that Scott Chen can, as well as adding new rules, also modify or delete any rule at any time, with the exception of the first five rules."

"But is that relevant?" Betty-2 asked. "Remember that the rule interface of the Guide wasn't actually fixed as part of the rules, so altering it or removing it doesn't actually count as a rule change."

  1. Scott decided that this was getting boring. He sent the Bettys and Stacy to a different location in Game 3.
  2. Apparently they had somehow earned some points, as they found themselves no longer in Game 3 but in one of the other two games. How could they tell? Why, by the story switching to second person, of course.
