He was beginning to feel surrounded, he saw a clear path which headed upstairs. His heart was pounding as his feet ascended the staircase. He opened a rough wooden rotten door slammed and bolted it once inside.Checking out the door, he knew it would not keep them out. He could hear them running up the stairs. He had to think to a way to escape. When he spunned around from the door, he could not believe his eyes and what he saw.
