quite fascinating. This counterpart of Ensign Jones comes from her universe's early 21st
century. Their universe has a quite different history from ours--for instance, the Eugenics
Wars never happened, and the computer technology of her era was much more advanced
than in the 21st century of our universe. It is even more advanced in some ways than our
current technology."
"I'm glad we've got that sorted out, Mr. Spock," said Kirk. "So am I," said the rather irritated Gloria, "but what about that Klingon ship that was just attacking us? Where did it go?" "That's a very good question," said Kirk. "It seemed as if it just stopped attacking us. Mr. Chekov, what's our status?" "I don't understand it, Keptin! The ship was attacking us, and then it just vanished!" said Chekov. "So it wasn't just a plot hole," said Betty-1 under her breath. "Well, that's reassuring, I guess." "Put us on yellow alert," said Kirk. He then turned to Gloria. "So would you women like a tour of the ship?" he said somewhat smugly as well as lustfully. His eyes were delightedly scanning Gloria's bosom.
