The only consolation for Fred, Astra and Velus was that they were sold off
as a single
lot. They wondered what the otherdimensional being intended to do with
them. Fred and
Astra's bravery, skill as warriors and strong consitutions would fit them
for any
of a large number of tasks. What Velus could do, still in his dog form as
he was, was
not so clear. For the moment they were being held in a totally white
featureless area.
It did not seem to be bounded by walls, but if they strayed too far in any
direction
they encountered a force field that prevented any further progress.
Before long, the otherdimensional being made their task known to them:
