The New Quest

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 4476

For those who came in late: Lord Fred, Princess Astra and the teen dog Velus had quested to destroy the dragon. They did not realize that all the while, they were being secretly viewed for the entertainment of beings from many lands and realities.
The three proved -not- to be entertaining enough so they were sold to an otherdimensional being for a little profit. This being, a hulking, wrinkled gray blob with tentacles, made them black out, then woke them up in a strange land with the little knowledge they needed printed on a sheet of paper.

It's now been three hours. Fred and Astra, dressed in simple gray pants, shoes and shirts are still walking along the wooded path they ended up on. Velus, tired and worn out, is sleeping in Astra's arms. Behind them, the purple dots that are spy holes float along.

"It's these bracelets that infuriate me." said Astra, looking at her hands. "We try and not find the runaway artifical intelligence and they blow up, killing us. We disturb the purple dots and they blow up, killing us. They even modified one to fit around Velus' paws! It's a grave dishonor to shackle an Aqualarian princess and her companions like this."
Lord Fred could do naught but agree. The mention of honor, though, had reminded him the dragon. He had sworn to destroy it. How would he do that, though, when it was so insanely powerful?

Suddenly, the wooded path splits in two. The left path was rocky and wet. The right was littered with leaves and branches.
"Oh no!" said Lord Fred, feeling a disturbing sense of Deja Vu. "We were not told the path branches! What path leads to the town where the intelligence was spotted?"
The purple dots did nothing.
"We have to make a choice." Astra said.

  1. They go left.
  2. They go right.
