"Of course," Anbana smiled. "You have my apologies. I thought nakedness
may be part of the culture you came from." He said something to the woman
acting as an interpreter. "She can show you to the hut after you have got
some clothes." The interpreter motioned them to follow her and she led them to a hut where a woman seemed to making alterations to an item of clothing. She was the seamstress of the village, and a section of her hut had two neat piles of male and female clothing waiting to be used. The interpreter had a few words with the seamstress, and she invited Fred and Astra in to have a look. Fred found something suitable to wear relatively quickly, and surprisingly enough, so did Astra. Or perhaps it was not such a surprise. A number of the females she had seen, even the older ones, appeared to be similar to her in a number of ways. The interpreter beckoned them again, and they followed her to a vacant hut not too far from the communal hut. This, she told them, was where a representative of another village could stay while meeting with Anbana. They could use it for the time being. She also decided to choose this time to tell them that her name was Ngeha. As well as being an interpreter, she was to try and help them with any problems they might have. "May the spirits bless you with pleasant sleep," she said as she bid them goodnight.
