Looking between two trees she saw she had a fine view of the surrounding
land. She could see she was standing on one hill out of a range that
stretched from horizon to horizon and each appeared to be heavily
forested. The forest she was standing in spread all down the hillside and
for a fair distance around the foot. At the forest's edge was a large gash
in the land, and beyond that was a vast expanse of scrubland dotted with
trees and shrubs, and a number of small moving blobs that must have been
animals, but she couldn't tell what sort at such a great distance.
However, her wonder at the sight before her was tempered by the fact there
wasn't the slightest hint of any civilisation.
