Lucifer of the Caverns

With a few swift strokes, the swordsman brought the entire web down. He reached into his pack for a sharp dagger and stealthily cut Amy's clothes out of the web. They were torn in a few places, but they still could still be worn.

"Maybe I should think about upgrading my wardrobe," Amy mused as she redressed.

The gentleman had put his sword back into its scabbard when Amy, clothed, began profusely to thank him. She was overcome with emotion, but the swordsman, whose name was Lucifer, was gracious in accepting her compliments.

He smiled politely, but seemed terribly uninterested in Amy. She directed the conversation.

"So what are you doing in these caverns, Lucifer?"

"I'm patrolling them."

"Oh?"

"Yes, my lord is Bezelebum; he rules these caves with magnanimity. It is my sworn duty to protect our hearth from intruders. And what, my dear girl, brings you to these caverns? We see very few humans around here - at least living ones."

Amy answers,

1. "I'm on a quest to slay the dragon."
2. "It's a really long story. Suffice it to say I got lost, and I've been lost for some time now."
