What with the scalding soup and then Astra's punches, Dr Demento's face
was a mess. Astra made sure that she kept behind him as she maintained her
grip round his neck. However this was not through any squeamishness on her
part, but rather to make sure that he could not try to hypnotise her with
his eyes.
She was relieved that Fred returned quickly with the rope. She would feel much safer once Demento was securely tied up. There would still be the problem of how to undue the hypnosis and/or spell that he had placed on Fred, of course. It didn't seem as though Demento was likely to be very co-operative. "Thanks, Fred," she said. "Please tie Demento up securely whilst I keep hold of him." "Fred, obey me, your master," Demento ordered. "Don't tie me up, but instead overpower this violent madwoman and then tie her up."
